The Future of the Automotive Sector post Brexit / Pandemic and the transition to Electric Vehicles

On Tuesday 15th June, Ben Gilbert, Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Holmes Noble, had the pleasure of hosting a cohort of senior executives from around the UK and abroad to explore the future of the automotive sector, in partnership with The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness makers.

We were delighted to have Freeman of the Coachmakers Mike Hawes, CEO of the automotive trade body SMMT as our keynote speaker for the event, who delved deep into the various elements of the disruption and opportunities facing the automotive sector. The webinar covered key themes including the significant ESG drive we have witnessed accelerated by Covid 19, Brexit & supply chain resilience, manufacturing capability, changing consumer behaviour, skills and the skills deficit and the idea that we need to think about the entire ecosystem and the need for cross-sector collaboration in Energy & Infrastructure.
