With three decades of expertise in executive search and talent advisory, Michelle Carson-Williams is the Chair and Founder of Holmes Noble, an international firm serving a diverse client base, from publicly listed corporations to privately owned and private equity-backed enterprises. Michelle founded Holmes Noble in 2005 with a vision to create a challenger brand that delivers high-quality and tailored services. Since then, she has steered the growth and development of the firm, building a reputation for excellence, innovation, and integrity.

Specialising in board development, Michelle advises on leadership dynamics, succession planning, and talent acquisition at the board level. In her advisory capacity, she actively contributes to shaping boards, working closely with chairs, CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, and increasingly CSOs. Michelle works closely with Holmes Nobles’ CEO, who holds a dual role leading the firm’s Board Practice. Michelle’s expertise aids boards and leaders to navigate challenges and opportunities presented by the ever-evolving macroeconomic climate, technological advances such as (AI), and the entire ESG spectrum.

She places paramount importance on every dimension of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), recognising its profound impact on organisational success, innovation, and cultural vibrancy. Michelle highlights the direct link between a company’s leadership, value creation, and successful capital-raising endeavours. In addition, Michelle has expertise in M&A, non-advisory, supporting clients in acquisitive aspects of their growth strategies.

As the Executive Chair of Holmes Noble, Michelle actively governs the board, working closely with the CEO and executive team. Navigating the dynamic landscape, she ensures Holmes Noble remains a trusted partner for clients seeking impactful leadership solutions.
